FIRST BLOOD - FEST STARTS THIS WEEK!

FIRST BLOOD!!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for! The Anti-Festival begins!

Come on by for the opening Saturday mega-event of the Anti-Festival and help us welcome our first out-of-town guests. In this dramatic unveiling of PNA-New Jersey’s new HQ, Krista Faist (MD), Reid Bingham (NJ), and Paul Bruner (NJ-NC) will be performing while we celebrate the release of BARM and KUH[n].

June 7th @ 7:00 pm
131 Bayard St.
New Brunswick, NJ 08901

At this Event:

- In our new gallery there will be a sound installation by Krista Faist (Baltimore).

- We’ll be reading poetry and prose from BARM, the long awaited New Jersey Post-NeoAbsurdist Publication. And there will be a special live debate between Warren Fry and Miss Rickets. As an added bonus, just by showing up you’ll receive a lifetime subscription to BARM!

- Paul Bruner will be back in New Brunswick from his new home in North Carolina to perform two new works ‘Viagra w/ Coke & Pepsi: Mine’s Bigger Than Yours’ and ‘Square Hatmann goes Gip Nilat’.

- If we’re lucky, poet and publisher Mark Sonnenfeld (NJ) will show up to read some of his work.

- We and YOU (if you’d like) will read, perform, or show works that have been influential on our practices and lives, AND a simultaneous poem by Evan Damerow, who can’t make this weekend.

- Circuit bending collaboration between Krista Faist and Reid Bingham (NJ).

- Laptops will be circulating on which you can browse through the video pieces in KUH[n], and obtain or arrange your own copy.

- And after all of that, Post-Neo & Surrealist games, an easy-to-use mail art station, puppets, a video camera, and lots of conversation will extend it all until everyone goes home or collapses.

Let’s all begin this thing in style! Come and celebrate with us :
